Time has to be spent on the education of drugs. However, students should just learn about the bad effects of drug taking, how to prevent taking drugs from peer pressure, and that's it.
In a health class, I would say that sexual education is much much more important. Also, I believe that the name of all the specific body parts, while good to know, is not something one needs in his or her teenage years unless they want to be a doctor. Teenagers use slang words when they have sex anyways. No one says "my penis has gone pass your labia and into your vagina. Look, I can almost reach your cervix." You know what I mean? Ok, I'm going off topic but yeah. =)

Education about the negative effects have been going on for a long time. The "Just Say No" campaign has done this. However, it hasnt made much difference. Educated or not, students will do drugs.

Yes, they should be ,that way they can know the way that the drugs interact with your body and your daily routine and lifestyles. People need to be educated on drugs, like they do disease. I think that they should it couldn't hurt

I feel Communications Skills should be taught as early as 8th
grade. If we could communicate better, we might have less problems with things like addictions.
Did you know just using the word "you", even if you are talking about something you did yourself. Will make the person you are
talking to take it personal. And they will get defensive.
We are supposed to use more general terms like" we", to
include ourselves. Or "somebody", if we're talking about something touchy.

yes, because by education students will stay from it if they know that it harms more than it benefits. knowledge widens our scope and it helps us in acting better and prevents us from making mistakes.
hope that helps
