theres a lot of people out there wit NO best answers...I usually get them for the answers I put a lot of thought into....or the ones where I suck up to the asker...by the way this is an AWESOME question...well asked, my friend, well asked

Yes, its good. Dont worry, ok even though sometimes you wont always get your answer picked as the best, i can assure you that the person who asked the question, still appreciates the information you´ve given them. Sometimes you just wanna give best answer to everyone cuz they´re all really helpful answers, but you only get to pick one, so sometimes it may seem like you´re unappreciated, but trust me, you´re not ok? =)

To have any best answers is good, right? And please don't take this the wrong way, but you're 17, so I think being able to contribute best answers at your age is noteworthy. Also, I checked the percentages of the top 10 on the leaderboard--4 of them have best answer percentages under 10%, and one of them has a best answer percentage of 4%.
What others here have said is the best advice: just have fun!

I think since you are just under a year, 5% seems good to me at your level...
Just keep going and you will get better as time passes...
