Sigh..I've been doing that since I was a little girl..but the last few years I've been a lot better...I still dont let my walls down for too people...even my therapist doesnt truly know all there is to know!! The problem I've run into though, is the people closest to me didnt know how to react when I started sticking up for myself, and speaking my feelings and letting my needs be known..they all thought I was just being b!tchy when actually, I finally felt free for the first time!!

I only put the happy face on when my kids visit, and sometimes with my folks (though I am getting to the point now with them that I can show my true face).

you know when youre just a kid, you think... i cant wait to grow up. ive always thought that but now that im 18, im kinda scared. i cant even drive yet. my parents are too occupied with their own problems to realize that i need their help. i pretend to be happy but im really not.

Sometimes yes, and so I just cry and let it all out. I have struggled with this for years.
