I like RICHARD. Richard sounds stronger. Lyndon sounds a bit weak. William is nice, too, but since you ask, Richard is cool.

William and Richard sound good, William is the better of the two. The name Lyndon is just stupid, I can't believe anyone would name a child that.

Lyndon is fairly uncommon ..there's a boy in my son;s school called William Williams ..so always keep surnames in mind when naming a child!

It has to be " Lyndon " for me, as it's the name of one of my son's. I named him Lyndon Stuart, I thought the names went well together and he was born in 1965, the name was really unique then. It has become much more popular, over the years

William could be shortened to Willy and Richard could be shortened to Dick - both unfortunate. Lyndon sounds stuck up and a bit lar di dar. I'd choose the historical names if I had to.

I prefer Richard. William is not too bad, but I can't say that I care for Lyndon very much...children will shorten it to Lyn which is a girls name..
