What do you do for living ? Is it same as your childhood dream ?

Childhood dream was to train racehorses.
Ended up training greyhounds for 35 years.
In my working life, I started off as an apprentice motor mechanic and became A Grade.
Now I'm a Journalist of more than 10 years.
And about the only two jobs I ain't tried is being a prostitute or a poofter....lol
I say Jack of all Trades.
Yep, I really am jack of all trades

My childhood dream was to be a soldier. I used to watch films and I could see their bravery and heroic deeds. I saw their love for each and everyone. Their not selfish. But then I realized it's hard being a soldier. You're always doubting if you're gonna meet the next morning. I also saw the selfishness of some Generals not caring for their battalions. Working for money and sometimes selling war supplies for their own enemies never thinking of what might happen. If you're a soldier, you're like a bait.
Now, I wanna be a preacher in our religion. I would be calm everyday. I'm not worried for I do believe that I'm with the Almighty.

Well my childhood dream was to either be a rock star singer or be a nurse...
It turns out I hate blood and I can't sing, so I opted for my 23 years as a newspaper retail advertising clerk, and I then became disabled due to back pain and surgery, so now I just stay home...
So no, I never had a dream realized, and it is too late now...

I'm 14 and all I dream of being when I'm older is... well.... happy.
Although, I do aspire to work with kids, like a teacher, or something. Wish me luck! <3

I work as an assistant and i wanted to be a president of my country so i still have like 50 years to acheive it. :)

I am a 30 year old college freshman, and I work full time as a computer operator/admin. so no, not really.

Thankfully I did not!!
I wanted to be a "McDonald's Lady" or a Nurse when I grew up.
I hate McDonald's... and I could never be a nurse, too much death.

no, it turned out i had nothing in common with chemistry so being a doctor just...disappeared
i could still grow dogs or own a nice coffeeshop
