Italians are nicest - talkative, freindly, open minded, willing to meet anyone if a good time is involved - only bad things about Italians is they can be quite hot headed and they seem to verge on chaos!! They also can't drive!!!.

Germans are next - culturally similar to the UK, great cars, great organisation, clean country, friendly, but a little bit guarded and wary.

French - can be quite hard to get to know and France is quite insular in many ways, they can be quite pompous and appear aloof, but get to know any French person and they'll soon open up to you and you'll realise that they're just great at protecting themselves.

Aah it's all stereotypes... everyone is different and everyone has good and bad points. No one country is nicer than another... everyone has something to offer.

I'm more biased to Italians because I myself am Italian. My great grandparents came here around 1932, so they were very in touch with their culture and country. Italians will talk to ANYBODY. They accept people quickly, act like they know them for 10 years, and will pretty much offer to cook a meal for them within the first five minutes they meet. Italians love to eat, cook and be with family. They're extremely family oriented. I compare them to Greeks and Hispanics when it comes to family,

I'm also German but I don't know much about this culture, since my Italian side is more into their history than my German side will ever be...but Germans aren't too bad. They can be a little too serious from time to time..but they have their moments. They're still easy to talk to but that side of the family isn't as close knit as my Italian side. It feels like something is always missing over there.

The French I know nothing about. I always hear that they're snobbish and rude but I can't say anything since I don't like to stereotype a culture I know nothing about.

having worked in the service industry, i have had similar experiences with all 3 cultures! condescending, demanding, snobbish, rude, and cheap! in every restaurant or bar i've worked at, ALL of the servers or bartenders (including our european servers) dreaded waiting on them because of their arrogant attitudes and their propensity to tip either 5% or nothing at all! one italian demanded that i spoke italian since it was an italian restaurant--i retorted that we were in the u.s. and that he should learn how to speak english--when in rome, sir! as friends, i have no idea how they would be. they are just humans after all, i'm sure they can be as compassionate and kind as buddhist monks. it's just unfortunate that they think they are more superior than other people. it's very ignorant behavior.

Level pegging depending on individual experience - all nationalities have their fair share of w*nkers - unfair to tar the lot on the basis of one brush!
