I've only seen the trailers and that was bad enough. It has more cheese than a deli counter!!!!

No it is not. There are so many other movies one can definitely say is the worst film in the history of films. If you don't like it then fine. To me, it's okay. To kids and children, they love it because, well (duh) it's for kids!
Let them be. Kids learn something valuable and it's what most kids like. High School Musical is far better than movies showing sex-ful and God-less themes that don't teach anything good to anyone.

LMFAO! I agree.. It is mostly for little children. All the Disney movies the Disney Channel shows are one of the worst. I just don't get the movie, real jealousy and all about one guy who loves basketball. Who breaths, eats and sleeps basketball.. What a weird movie..

Uhhh .
I wouldnt call it a good movie but its not exactly terrible.
Its pretty cheesy but its a kids movie so thats what you should expect.
The younger audience cant seem to get enough of it!
And when will everyone stop asking if zac efron is going out with vanessa (or ashley tisdale)??

It is not exactly the worst but not good too. I only like one of the songs but other than that it looked like a kid's movis and Iespecially don't like Troy. Well it's alright I guess.

I have not seen it yet, I recored it over christmas when it was on TV but i still have not got round to watching it, i only wanted to see it to see what al the fuss was about, but you lot are making to sound so boring now im changing my mind, but i will take a look when i get a chance.

The movie is far too overrated. Sure it has a story many high school kids can relate to, but oh, what a cheesefest it was!

No the children love it and it's better for young children to believe that ther is some innocence left in the world rather than the sorry world we actually live in today
