Sure it is a good n nice name. Ravi means in Hindi (India) SUN. Many people say different things regarding names for example a person with any name, they are very short tempered, aggressive etc. but i call this non-sense as the name has got nothing to do with the person but only to know him or her to call with and communicate.

My daughters nickname is Ravi and I think it is good. Why would it be bad. Her name is Meirav and Ravi is a good nickname and cute.

Nothing is good or Bad in this world absolutly.It depends on person,time,circumstance etc.Like for Our senior citizen it is very good name because it carries God Name(Suraj Bhagwan).But for me it is out of trend and full of boredom
