research your fellows Aussie actors, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe. Look into to how they overcame, the schools they attended, etc. That should give you some guidance and motivation.

just start going to auditions and open casting calls in your area, any that come up. Once you've done a movie or two or maybe a tv series, you'll have made a giant leap. But realize that it's really really hard out there, and that the men and women who make it in the acting biz are those who would die if they didn't act. They literally live on it, and feel life wouldn't have any meaning if they couldn't act.

If you are drawn to acting, be sure it's because you love the work, because the pursuit of wealth and fame are not going to sustain you.

Read "Actors on Acting," (various authors) and "Respect for Acting" by Uta Hagen.

Once you're certain that you want to act, learn everything you can about language and history and try a bit of psychology, too.

You will never finish learning how to act. It's a life-long process and one I find very exciting and fulfilling, though frustrating at times.

I'd say for now just stick to school plays. Yeah I know, there are tons of actors your age but at this time, it's not really worth it unless you feel you can be AMAZING and...can handle getting the same role over and over again... (coming from someone who is the same age).

Just wait, train, taking acting classes, tell your parents you are really into and then set up some auditions, go to them, train more, go to more auditions.
