The Doors without a doubt. Jim Morrison, what a legend.
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah
Wow!

The Doors, and oh sweetie, you are wrong, there are more male bands therefor reaching to more folks. I will say that if anyone, a band, a writer, a singer is good enough, this person, or persons can reach anyone. The doors had some very good writers or possibily did it themselves, at least some of it anyway. Some was haunting. Hey, I know that Lita Ford, ( for example), is retired from music, but if you heard some of hers, and turned away, then you are the only male that won't listen to "chick", music, as you call it. I really think that you have not heard really good female musicans, I do agree, they are hard to find, if you will admit, good rock bands period is hard to find. It is because the radio don't play anything anymore worth listening to. Well, maybe once in awhile and far in between! At least around here, the Chicago area. When I go up north into Northern Wisconsin, I will tell you I keep a pen handy, they really rock anfd that is serious country up there,. Dirt roads and all.

I like both bands. But I think Nirvana had a bigger impact on the music scene of their times.
After Smells like teen spirit, every other band threw away their leather pants and hair spray, drop D tuned their guitars, and went after the Seattle look and sound. It was a seachange in the popular music scene.
The Doors, while a great band, simply reflected the psychedelic times on popular music in the late 60s. They really didn't change or influence how people made music.
BTW : The Wilson sisters from Heart rock out WAY harder than most guy bands ever wished they could!

Nirvana replaced into lots greater influential. Nirvana opened the doorways(no pun meant) for sparkling grunge bands to make their way into the spotlight. i admire The doorways lots nonetheless. I desire them over Nirvana by using slightly. the two one in each and every of them are 2 of my famous bands.

The Doors. They created amazing music. Jim Morrison would stop at nothing to be entertaining, including being arrested on stage and being outrageously crude long before it was done by everybody.
