A mate got me involved in some pyramid scheme thing, here is the link http://www.gatenbys.com/?r=118758 - copy and paste address bar. if you sign up and register with blockbuster- which is free and they dont ask for bank details you need to tell 12 people about it, then you get a free xbox. Looked on web forums and it seems other people actuyally recieved their gifts. What you recon? If it works remember my link- in that I told you all about it.

Well, i dont know about this one, but I know a few friends who got involved in similar schemes. There will always be a minority of people who will benefit from schemes like this! But dont take a blurb and a photo of some dude holding an xbox as proof that this is what will happen to you...in many (although not all) cases these photos are staged (i.e. Fake), intended to lure in people! Now, Im sure this scheme thing is totally innocent but just be aware that human nature dictates that you "never get something for nothing"...just be wary is all I'm saying, you may end up getting mail spammed which, while not serious, can be incredibly annoying :-)

You are effectively spamming on their behalf, also the email addresses you furnish them with will get so much crap in their mail boxes they will not thank you for it, also if they have your email address you will see when the crap level hits mega... As the other dude said, "Nothing for nothing", unless you steal it of course...

I had a look at their site for you and they do seem to give but only if and the here it is in their own words "

A valid referral is someone who signs up to Gatenbys Giveaway via your own referral link, who then completes one of our advertiser offers. The number of referrals they get does not affect you or whether you receive your gift".

You need at least 12 of your friends to actually sign up for something not just look at it, it all in the statement "VALID REFERRAL".

PS: 13 referrals for an xbox

Pyramid scmes are bad... top person clreams the money in, the others loose...

Avoid like plague no matter how convincing it sounds... they are experts at manipulating folk same as cult leaders

Bad idea. What happens when they run out of people to refer? You get up to 11 angry folks with no game console per person that actually got one.

Bad odds, bad marketing.
