If you have read "Vernon God Little", maybe you know the meaning of Powerdime?

"Some ****** powerdime shift. Lally lets it sit there."
DBC Pierre used this word so many times in his novel but I didn't find its' meaning anywhere. if you know, please help me.

I think it is a treatise on the principle of tithing.
