Money is a need for today. But, that doesnot mean money is everything. Money is not the road. Humans are mortal, there lifespan has to end someday. We have to leave the earth. Greedily collecting more and more money is a futile attempt. It is not money that makes a life but moments lived that count.

As much as we try and think that money is not everything, it does bring some form of happiness. Would you be happy homeless or in a cardboard box? Would you be happy raising your children with little or no money?? I am sure the majority of us would not. It also depends on how one defines happiness. I think seeing the world would make happy. I do not have the money to see all the places of the world I want to see. If you want to find and be with your perfect soulmate or loved one, you will need some money and decent financial stability. Everything takes money to function in our lives. You may be happy with your life situation, relationship, job, etc right now, but when you look at it money has gotten you to that position or is maintaining or allowing you to stay in that place in life or comfort zone. It is just a cold hard fact. I hate it as much as everyone. I often wish and daydream that I was some desert nomad just surviving, but I know that will not truly make me happy. I wonder if it would be better living back in some era of time. Say the medeviel(sp) times or the renaissance. Today life is just so matierialistic. Its all about what you have. How much money you have and what you can get with it to make yourself and loved ones happy seems to be the way of obtaining the majority of happiness.

The question is relative is to the situation in which the person is. If u r lost in a desert water will be more precious to u than money. If you are in a country at war stayin alive would be more precious than money. If your poor and starving money would be the most important thing to u.
Happiness is just a state of the mind. You may be happy when u hav all ur friends and family around u but u wont be happy stayin in a palace all alone. I'm not sayin money is not important but i'll definitely say its not everything in life. As for finding happiness that is a personal journey for different things make different people happy.

Progression is the key to happiness. When one feels that they are constantly growing and advancing towards whatever it is they seek, happiness will reign. When a person becomes stagnant in anything they do, frustration kicks in, anger and eventually, unhappiness. The constant paying of bills that never ends - stagnation, which leads to unhappiness. Anything that you must constantly do in a repetitious cycle, especially without seeing progress = unhappiness. If everything always worked out in our favor – happiness will always reside within the individual. Money is only a tool that will remove some of life’s tangible obstacles. Those that are well off have their issues as well. The difference is, they are able to implant, tuck and try to lift their troubles away. It is the mental state that the person inherits that will determine how happy they will be. Only you can truly make yourself happy. To make yourself happy takes place once you readjust your perspective on the very thing that is making you unhappy.

I think that happiness comes from love, and not just a physical type of love, a deep, deep love, that comes from your soul. not many people experiance that type of love anymore, so there for they turn to what they feel is the next best thing, money. When really it isn't. Some people just don't know any better. They feel like money can change things, or make someone love you, but it can't. the world's self esteem is lowering. I just pray that i can stay out of the slump.

It depends on what is your priority in life. Some people really like to spend money, go out for dinner with friends, travel, gamble, etc. For them, money will make them happy. Some people live very simple life. They don't spend money too much. They need money only for living and eating. For them, money will have lesser value and money will not make them happy. So it depends on which category you belong to and what is your way of life.

Happiness is a state of mind.
I think you have to look at all the positive things in your life and realise how much you really have.
Then you can be happy.
It's an ongoing thing, you don't just decide to be happy and that's it.
Plenty of people who have money aren't happy.

No. Love is everything (love of self, others, life, nature, whatever you enjoy). Money just makes everything easier. It buys you time & freedom, precious commodities we never have enough of. If you had enough money not to have to work at a job you hate then you would have the freedom to do whatever you choose & more time to spend with loved ones & doing what you love...how could you not then be happier?

kept trying to think of a real way to happiness with out money,AND couldn't YOU GOT TO HAVE IT TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD THATS FOR SURE. IF WE DIDN'T;T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT having enough of it just to get by ,I'D BE HAPPIER.most jobs don;t pay people enough and most have nothing but worry all the time, some can't even go see a doctor cause of no insurance, and barely get by, even rent is more than most people make, most jobs don't pay enough for people to live a happier life ,if they did people didn't have to worry about having enough just to live I think we;d all be a lot happier.
