Hey yall, im 14 and I will be in high school this fall. Im an honor roll student. I was wondering how early can you take certain parts of the SAT and do you have a better chance in getting into your state college if you have your application early?

You can take the SAT whenever you like (there is no age limit), but there really is no reason to take it any earlier than your Junior year...and yes...there tend to be higher acceptance rates for early action, however, those who apply early tend to be especially well qualified which could account for the increased acceptance at many schools.

You can take the SAT whenever. Even for early action, you really only need to take it your junior year or the summer btw junior and senior year.

Check to see if your state school has early action. Most don't. If they have rolling admissions, then just apply the first day available and have your SAT done about 3 months beforehand.
