why give them visas in the first place
why give them the opportunity to get into your countries
there is nothing you can do now coz they are swedish residents now and they have the same rights as you...this sucks, i know

There are indeed many immigrants doing ilegall stuff in Sweden. and that pisses lots of swedes off. but there is also immigrants who doesn't do illegall stuff. and they accuse swedes of being racists 'cause the swedes say that immigrants is the reason of all the bad things going on there. I've met many nice and polite muslims, but also nearly been robbed by a gang of colored people. There will always be good and bad immigrants. Get used to it.

Well there is a grain of truth in what you're saying, but allow me to elaborate.
You might have problems in Sweden, but again desperate people tend to do desperate things.
As a Swedish you have every right to refuse or welcome immigrants. You might even choose to select immigrants based on a criteria selection. For example based on the immigrant's educational background, mentality, productivity in society etc.. Nobody can deny that right for you.
However, assuming that an immigrant will not integrate based on his religion alone would be considered as discrimination. Even if statistics show that a Muslim might be harder to integrate, this might not be necessarily the case.
Technically speaking, discrimination is legal, but at the end its up to you to choose the path you wish to take.
Last, it is also up to you to choose not to accept immigrants at all.
Thank You.

Well Lady, I think that you have a legitimate question here and I was getting ready to give you an insight on people who leave their country and migrate to another one ( from personal experience) until out of curiosity I decided to check your Q and A.
so far and you haven't been long here: japanese are arrogant and you would never go there, you asked for a politically correct way to abuse black people ( are you pissed at them because they're black? just use the words that you would use with anyone) and the Gem is you deciding that blond, blue eyed people should not mix with darker races (???)
and I couldn't be bothered checking more than a few questions.
This was enough for me to decide that I am unable to give you an answer to match the shallow, racist and xenophobic way you view the world.

I could return your question this way: How should muslim immigrants to Sweden deal with ignorant Swedish people?
People integrate if they are given options for integration. Unfortunately for many, Integration means that foreigners have to get rid of their way of life and behave like the people in the country where they've migrated into. Well, no my dear, this is a free world. I am a muslim immigrant in the UK, educated, could mingle with poeple far better than many other british born people, and i am muslim, and i will remain muslim. that does not mean i do not talk to christians or jews around me, or that i do not invite them in my house, and my children do invite them and go tho their houses as well. i have not put frontiers in my mind and in my heart, i am a human being, full stop. and i take other people as human being. Religion, race and sex is what comes with the package, you can choose that it is important and never get to know what is inside, or choose to simply ignore it and try to know who is the person in the other end. I am fed up of remarks such as Muslim cannot integrate!!! it is nothing less than a racist remark! do you think swedish people can integrate in Saudi or in Koweit? do you think they get rid of their blue eyes or that they are asked to wear a veil in Dubai!?? Wake up, open up, this world is now opening up, while you are chosing to close up your mind. you seem young to me, try to approach some of the muslim fellows in your school or place of work and talk to them and try to know what they think and tell them how you feel.. Communicate instead of remaining rigid behind your preconceived ideas! As a muslim, I am not dropping my religious principles for any country in this world, it is my freedom to be and to believe in what i want to believe in, I am not hurting anyone, I am not disrepesting anyone, and I demand the same for myself and for my family. nothin less than what i give to the rest of the world.
Also please stop putting the whole world into one box, just because one french or one british guy has committed something in a foreign countries, does not mean the whoel of them are bad. Nobody is going around saying that Christianity is bad because some priests are pedophiles or some are celbrating gay marriages! so for god sake, learn to make some discernments, learn more in general about the rest of the world, and get your mind out of that small box which you have locked it into.

Well, friend, this is your opinion, so you certainly don't speak for all Swedes when you say "we" - only the Swedes that think like you. I'm Swedish, and I disagree with every word you say, about Muslims and about Roma. And I am far from alone. As a matter of fact, I don't know anyone who thinks like you, although I know that they exist.
Almost all immigrants coming to Sweden are refugees, and have fled from war, terror and persecution. What should we have done? Shut the door in their face, like the Western world did for many years when German Jews tried to escape from Nazi Germany? I'm happy and proud that the Sweden of today has not been that selfish. Sweden has been generous in opening its doors for them - but NOT in welcoming them, integrating them, employing them, appreciating their experiences and knowledge. That is a terrible waste. First generation refugees are mostly grateful enough for just being let in, since they know what they fled from. But here, as in other countries, second-generation immigrants have no personal experience of war or persecution - but lots of experience of being poorer, less respected, more often teased, ridiculed, insulted and discriminated against than Swedes who have been living here for generations. They have also less to hope for, since they know how much harder it is for people with non-Swedish names to get a job. Most of them deal with this situation brilliantly. They adapt, improvise, persevere, educate themselves, refuse to be trampled on, refuse to apologize for existing, and eventually find a good place in society. But a minority doesn't. Some of those turn to crime to earn the money and "status" they feel they'll never be allowed in another way, some turn to it just to revenge. And some go back to their cultural/religious roots to find the sense of identity, dignity and belonging that the society in which they live never offered them. For some, that is what saves their self-respect. But some - a few - become dangerous.
More than anything else Sweden needs people who work. We need more immigrants, not fewer, or we will be in BIG trouble in 15-20 years, when there aren't enough young people to support the large ageing population. If we don't want to have to beg on our knees for unwilling people from other countries to come here and help us, we should start NOW to acknowledge the enormous potential of a large part of the population that has never been given equal chances to be part of our society.
I don't deny that there are problems. But you reap what you sow. Sow kindness and respect, reap kindness and respect. Sow hatred and disrespect, reap hatred and disrespect. Sometimes I think that the strange thing is that so many - the majority - of refugees and their children do so well in spite of the disrespect they meet!

The European nations were able to become rich by stealing resources from other places of the planet. And they left those nations corrupted. So the Europeans have the money earned from imperialism, so the immigrants come to your country hoping to earn those money.
The rest, i agree with AskAsk.

My next door neighbours are swedish - so i guess they left their country and migrated - they are dirty, never cut their lawn or fix around their house. but I never think that all swedish are like that and they don't integrate. I'm sure there are moslem in your country who are working and successful, just like there are swedish unemployed who commit crimes.
