the sentence is, " you are like drugs. you controlled my mind, body and soul. I can't get away from you cause you're so addictive"..
I felt that this sentence is something wrong..Can you add in some words for me or just correct my sentence.

Thank you.

You are like drugs: you control (why past tense? if you feel this strongly about someone it's a continuous thing) my mind, body and soul. I can't (so many choices... I can't get away from you BEcause/cos... but maybe you want to say "I'll never quit because I'm hooked" or "you're the one drug I can't quit" or "If you're the drug then I'm the addict, and frankly I'm not sure I want to be cured" In terms of advice I'd say figure out how you feel, and then put it in terms of the "you are a drug" metaphor, and don't mix your metaphors up... stick with "you are a drug" and put everything else in those terms)

Good luck with the person you're addicted to...

Remember that the other person isn't actually a drug, or a toy, respect each other, wear a condom, all the advice your mother gave you when you left the house....

maybe you should re word it as
You are like a drug. You control my mind, body and soul. I cant seem to get away from you because you are so addictive.

Maybe only the tense needs a bit of working on.

I'll give it a go! "You are like a drug. You've controled my mind body and soul. I can't get away get away because you are addictive" That last scentence is still akward.. if I might be so bold - "And you're as adictive as I am dependent." or simply "I'm addicted to you"
