Keep your cool, and calmly address the passengers on the general broadcast: tell them the arrangement for safe evacuation, and ask them to quickly go to their boat stations in a disciplined manner for saving their own lives and others'! Tell them that the Captain (YOU!) would be available till the last moment for supervising the life saving efforts, and would be the last person to leave the ship!

Ill say people jump off into the sea
U will float
(Remember -->sea+minerals=high upthrust)
Just look after ur younger ones and well shift old people and children and ur property on lifeboats

Tell them why the ship is sinking and tell them to get in the lifeboats, and how long they will have to wait for rescue (you did make a distress call on the radio, didn't you?)
