Well first off NO it is not AICTE Approved, So what does that mean?
even if you get you're degree from ICFAI you won't be able to pursue Doctorate course. But i guess not many people study after getting MBA.
Hyderabad is the best no doubt, Next comes Gurgaon, then Mumbai and then Kolkata, but thing is others are not even close to Hyderabad, but if you're confident about getting in Hyderabad then its all right, but in case you don't make you're options clear.
Another thing is its High Fees, What's up with that, I qualified for the course in Hyderabad but i reconsidered and Joined IIM-L, only because of the Fees.
Anyway its a great B-School within the Top 10 in India, Just make sure you get into Hyderabad, make sure you're presentation is spotless and to the point, you would be only give 5 Minutes.
Best of Luck!!

Dear friend,
I also selected for ICFAI B-School and invited for next formalities. According to my knowledge and I heard about ICFAI college atpresent is good for doing MBA. But the major problem is their fee structure. But they have more than 90 percent campus recruitment. During past years all the elders done their MBA in that college were now in good position. Those persons are receiving more than 70,000 income per month having just 2 years of experience. they belongs to 2004 batch.

No ICFAI is not AICTE approved. they are private institutes not recognised by AICTE. You can check or AICTE website for approved colleges list. Like the previous answer, Hyderabad is the famous of all ICFAIs.
