I stopped taking the pill in September to give my body a break. Since then I have had 3 periods each with about 5-6weeks in between. Since the last one I am now into the 7th week of waiting - is this normal?

Until menopause you will learn that any chemicals can disturb your menses cycle. So generally there is not much reason to be concerned.

It is common to have some type of disturbance. For 25 years mine were always erratic.

Yes, they can really get messed up. I hated going off the pill just for that reason, but at the time I was 40 and still smoking. The doctor said too many risks and took me off.

I stoped taking the pill in Nov. and I get my period on the 15th of every month. usually when I'm off the pill it comes whenever it wants too.

It often happens. It may take awhile for your body to normalize.

oh yeah for sure your body can take upto 12 months + to get back to being regular.
unless your pregnant???
