Yes, it does. Part of the science behind Feng Shui concerns how color affects your mood and the body's optimal functioning.
Many years ago, a study was done concerning calming down prisoners using non-aggressive means. What was found, was that a certain formulation of pigments which creates the "brand" of color, called "Baker-Miller Pink", calmed down the population of inmates when they were exposed to walls painted this color for long periods of time.

Most definately! I like to quilt and I love to play with fabrics of all colors. But I've noticed that working with the different colors does have an affect on my mood. Especially when I'm working with my favortie colors....purples & pinks. When my grandpa died, I tried to work through my grief by qulting. When I started...I was working with a dark color--navy blue (the darkest color I had) and slowly over time, as I begain to feel better, I started adding brighter colors.....like yellow, turqoise blue, fuscia pink.. So yes, colors make a difference.

Once I read that red and yellow colors keep your nerv.system wide awake. I was in the metro, sleepy and in a hurry for my classes. To get rid of that sleepiness I finally found two big red and yellow commercials. - What a nice yellow color, - I thought... - and got asleep immediately.
But actually colors do effect people, just not so strong.

Definately so!
Many successful salesmen wear yellow ties as this encourages a sale.
Green and blue are healing and relaxing colours.
Red can go either way....a lot of people say red in for anger and other say it is for love.
The best way to test the theory is to spend some time checking in with your own feelings. Spend some time looking at colours and see how you feel!

My Mom is a kinesiologist, and she uses color therapy all the time. We've even used color bath tabs for my kids when doing a "correction" with color therapy. I ask her not to tell me what it's for, so I can see for myself if there are any changes in the kids, and there defenitely are.

colorings have an potential. diverse colorings evoke diverse thoughts. We associate purple with warmth, hearth. it could make us indignant or in basic terms sense heat. For some reason yellow makes us hungry (could be why they use yellow for the golden arches!) i'm unsure why. eco-friendly is amazingly serene. it relatively is organic, it reminds us of grass. Blue is likewise tranquil. like the sky or like water. some colorings have diverse effects on diverse human beings. to illustrate, i've got heard that black can alienate human beings. yet individually i admire black. i hit upon it eye-catching, mysterious, eye-catching. some human beings locate it frightening (linked with darkness & evil while white is linked with mild & goodness). all the sensory information that we soak up has an effect on us. we are sensual beings in song with our surroundings. So decide on your paint colorings heavily! Tee hee. i admire gray. My general colorings are gray, silver, black, white & maroon. They dominate my residing house decor. yet it relatively is in basic terms me. many human beings gravitate to beiges & taupes. Earth tones are calm & risk-free. i like some earth tones yet i decide for fairly an facet...
