Hello guys
i am on a ethernet network and there are lots of computer on this network ,there are some guys who installed sniffers on there computer so that they can get confidencial information from computers on this network, Guys is there any way to protect my computer from these sniffers ,also is there any way to hide my IP ADDRESS from this network so that no one can see my IP on this LAN network maybe this can enhance my security...

Unfortunately, if this is a public network that you are talking about, there is nothing you can do. I would recommend contacting the System Administrator and asking him to install a sniffer detection system. He will know what you are talking about.
There is no way to "hide" your IP address when communicating over the network. A sniffer works by viewing the exact packets that the server would view, therefore if the sniffer can't see your IP address than neither can the server, in which case you cannot communicate with the network.

Use the Firewalls for security, Not share your drives, do security level high and learn and download the software from:- www.airtightnetworks.com
There is no way to hide IP Address But you use "Obtain IP Address Automatically" Option instead of giving IP address By this Your IP address will be changed every time.

Hi, Protect ur data by using lock codes/Password to access.
Use Pendrives to store ur data.
Regarding hiding ur IP address it is not possible.
