Because playing is more fun! And generally the computer at work is technologically superior to the rinky-dink version you have at home.

But--as someone else has said--you get paid to work, not play. If you like getting that paycheck, and are disinclined to be fired, delete all games, etc. and do what your boss gives you the money for...

Or go work for Playstation! Kill two birds with one stone! *wink*
