I know I know you see this question every day!!! But my family is very interested! So if you could take a minute to answer, we would appreciate it! We are in central Qld Australia, and it is 7.30pm here and it is still hot,35*c, and its very very dry, we are in the middle of the worst drought on the record books, crops are failing, people are killing their stock{its more humane} and farmers are going broke and walking off land that has been in their family for years. Our dams are dry and some towns are trucking in water for residents, and councils are working out how to deliver recycled water, yes recycled! so spare a thought for us aussies and pray for rain! looking forward to your replys!

It is three o'clock in the morning. Here in the Sonora Desert of southern Arizona the cactus and palm trees are covered in snow! We are amazed, and the whole town is excited. It is very unusual.

I am in Bangalore,India...its a bright sunny day ...yet very pleasant, temprature must be around 27*C .. its 3.09 p.m.

I really feel bad when i read about droughts, it sucks the life out of soil and I know how difficult it is when drought hits …. Farmers are the most affected.

Even I come from farming background, my grandfather was a farmer, we still have farmlands, but its so dependent on rain, that none of his offspring wanted to get into farming. When I used to visit the farmlands I used to feel…. I belong here …but time never allowed me or may be I was so involved with city lifestyle… I never thought about it.

We share your distress by praying and looking forward to good rains … at all the places where it is needed. People should come forward and acknowledge the fact that farmers feed us and keep us alive.

Your government should provide some relief to the needy farmers and think constructively for retaining ground water… there by giving a helping hand to the suffering community, and come forward with innovative ideas of retaining water.

We're in western part of India(Mumbai to be exact). It's 3 o'clock & temp outside appx 15 degree C. It is considered to be a nice wether. Country's economy is growing at 10 % per annum & ther's lot of hype around India vs China being world powers in 2020.
Economy is doing well, real estate prices ahve doubled in last one year, stock prices have surged more 200% .
Currently inflation has touched 6% which is bit higher as compared to last 3 years. Interest rates have also become cosatlier ,currently close 10% (up from 7 % one year back)

USA, near east coast, just got a blast of winter and few inches of snow, first snow for winter so far. Its 4:35am. Been the mildest winter on record, been about 45-50 F for most part when it should be 10-30 F. Instead of normal small rain showers here and there, it comes in a wave of few days of rain then nothing for awhile.

The climate is changing globally right before our eyes.

Gidday, its 10:38pm New Zealand time. I cant imagine that heat. Today we had a high of 24*c in Auckland, and we complained because we had to work outside in the heat. I will spare a thought for you all, it must be heart- breaking seeing people you know lose their land. I wont be whinging tomorrow, but think myself lucky we have running water. Good luck to all the farmers in central Qld, and I wish you and your family all the best.

I'm about 20 miles outside London, England. The time is 09.34 and the weather is cool and drizzly. We have had gale force winds and rain in the past few days but it's now calmed down and got cooler. It's sad you are experiencing the opposite extreme where you are, my heart goes out to everyone suffering and the livestock. I wish you rain soon.
