sounds more like escaping than travelling. if you are just wanting to run away, yes you are too old and running won't fix whatever the real problems are.

if you sincerely want to travel, of course you're not too old. my gramma travelled until she was 85.

Age is just a number and should not be anything else.
Sounds like you need a break so go on have fun kick back and let life take you places give you new experiences and who knows you might never return home.

Just remember to take care if your travelling into some unsavoury parts and if your going into Asia please do not carry anything for anyone even if they look like the most beautiful well educated person.

Your old enough and have properly travelled so you know the rules take care and enjoy.

Of course you are not!!! If you are really that unhappy you have nothing to lose. I hope and assume there ae no children involved .If you think about it for too long you will be too old so just decide to do it and then do it!!!! Who knows what you may learn along the way. It could be the start of a knew and exiting life. Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for.

EXCUSE ME??!! you have a choice here - you can sit here, feeling miserable, with your job you hate and a stale relationship or you can toddle off and see the world with its sunny climes, interesting people, amazing history and beautiful scenery ETC ETC ETC!!
Too old at 37?! Behave self and go and pack your case, you will have a ball!!

If your kids are grown or if you don't have any kids and nobody is financially dependent on you, I can't see a single reason why you shouldn't go off and travel where your curiosity takes you.

Sounds like fun. Send us some postcards.

We never grow to old to travel. We grow old because we stop travelling.

Actually the word travel should be replaced with play, but I think you get the message.

You'll never never know if you never never never go
