I never knew he got a doctorate in environmental sciences; maybe he was taking night classes while working on the internet.

I am taking the movie seriously... only in the sense they are trying to seriously brain wash people in to thinking that weather change is a new thing and hasn’t been happening for millions of years.

One thing I did notice that was not mentioned, the largest producer of "green house" gasses is the planet earth.

There is one volcano in the Congo that produces nearly 50%more Carbon monoxide than the US and causes localized acid rain.

Wow the earth is contributing to the "problem" my god... that would mean it is a natural process that the earth cycles though!

No that would mean Gore is not the genius he claims him self to be!

Well I can’t stand for that! I am going to forget things like facts and just run "Incontinent truth" on an eternal loop on my DVD player so I remember what truly despicable creatures’ humans really are!

Al Gore should have been president. Since that movie came out, all I've seen on the news here in canada is coverage about the ice shelves breaking off and floating away. We actually just lost an ice shelf that has been there for over three thousand years. The fact that it is no longer there, is reason enough to take this issue seriously. However, some american companies will lose too much money, so it's kind of a useless battle. We need some international intervention and we need it yesterday.

The tag line for this film is "By far the most terrifying film you will ever see", I couldn't agree more.

There has been a lot of controversy over most of the points raised in the film, but it's main aim is raising the profile of the problem and forcing political action.

There are still a lot of people who are burying their heads in the sand (George Bush for example), people who won't be exposed to the standard scientific publications. This film has raised the profile of global warming with the general public.

By systematically puncturing many of the spurious arguments that special interest groups (the oil industry for example) have publicised, Al has made us aware just how serious this problem is and what the effects are going to be if we don't do something about it soon.

There are some really serious issues talked about in this movie. I think everyone needs to take the ISSUES seriously, even if they don't like the movie. Global warming etc. is something that is affecting so many parts of the world.... and its not getting ANY better...

Yes, I am taking it very seriously. Al Gore makes some very good points in this movie. You may not agree with him but think of all the things he points out. Can you explain what is happening today.

Yes i take it seriously right now at this moment the Earth is getting hotter by every second. If it continues like this most likely in the year 2100 the Manhattan tower would be drowned.

I am proud of him. At his age he cares to warn the likes of you. I am not far from his age and should not give a hell because I have no kids or family with kids. Unfortunately I have a heart which makes me want to shake sense into you so you or your kids don't suffer long after I am gone.
