get a thousand cuts from a blade, pour lemon juice acid, get a grater, give it a hard rub and try sticking a watermelon inside your nostrils.

every one experiences labor differently some have an easy time while others have a hard time usually first time moms are in labor for 12-16 hours when you start to dilate hopefully you dilate one cm per hour. the beginning contraction (0-3 cm) are usually 30 to 40 seconds long around 10-15 minutes apart and you could compared them to a volkswagon they are small and short in length, then the next group of contraction (4 - 7 cm) are longer up to 60 seconds long, come about every 5 minutes and stronger and can be compared to a SUV which is bolder and larger in structure. the last set of contractions is called transititonal phase and they are much longer 60 to 90 seconds long and 1-2 minutes apart they can be compared to a semi...they roar in hard and heavy and are longer and take a while to pass..the very last stage is pushing you get a slight break and are able to rest a little between the contractions that make you want to bear down and push,,, just remember to breath because you are breathing for your baby since everytime you have a contraction the oxygen level goes down for your baby as the uterus tightens and baby's heart rate could go down if you are holding your breath....always start with a huge deep energy breath .and then breath in slowly thru your nose to the count of 4 and out your mouth slowly breathing out to the count of 4 also. do this as long as you can and end the contraction with a deep energy breath that is from the bottom of your feet and exhale loudly so that every one knows that contraction is gone.....take the contractions one at a time remember to keep your eyes open and focus on one object as you breath so as not to internalize the discomfort and remember that each contraction is like riding a bike up a hill once you reach the top of the hill (peak of the contraction) you have no where to go but down......perhaps a child birth class would be good for you check with your doctor would be beneifical also...good luck

probably sounds strange to some - I thought it was an amazing experiece. It does depend on your pain threshold, I went in thinking that the pain was going to be like a stab and tare me apart, so thinking the worst kind of pain- when the pain did come it was so bareable, I was even induced to the full and I was still waiting for worse but that was it- it helps to wriggle your toes as hard as you can, and then when it gets heavier slide your leg up and down its comforting and of course when you do go into labour it feels like nothing else you can describe so you'll know your getting them- remember think the worst it will help.

Depends on the individual. Some women don't have any pain. My experience was that I felt like I was having bad menstral cramps if you have ever had them before. Your uterus becomes tender, and you feel pressure like your whole bottom is going to come out. Like I said this was my experience. I had 5 children. With one of my kids, my water broke, and I had no labor pains. My doctor had to induce my labor because I hadn't dillated. Sometimes you'll feel like you will have to make a bowel movement. Different experiences for different woman. Good Luck.

they say it's the most painful moment in your life... that you don't even wanted to be touched because of the pain... but after the labor and delivery, you'll be happy seeing your baby...
