Does anyone know whether the children who acted in the movies Blood Diamond and Hotel Ruwanda, ever received any kind of counsellin? Im wondering because there are some really horrific scenes in these movies, and just wonder what kind of impact shooting the scenes had on those children.

I don't think they went to counseling. As they are actors they earned big bucks for there roles. Some of the children in the films were real and the producers used shoots of everyday people when the could. FX made the movie scenes very realistic.

I'm sure they didn't need counseling as they were acting in a movie. Just like the survivors of Titanic didn't need counseling afterwords. They made bu-cu bucks.
