I heard a choral version of 月亮代表我的心 that was amazing, but it would be a hard song to find the arrangement.

Since you now say you need an English song, how about an old song like "This Is My Song" or "The World Will Smile Again"?

hmm... well, the rule of thumb is, you gotta either sound really good (always a plus!) or choose an orange to go with the apples (choose a song that sticks out from the rest). You could do Bohemian Rhapsody, that's probably a good song that'll get the judges' attention haha

Jesus walks by Kanye West

Its suitable for a choir, modern, classic, powerful and inoffensive.

Stay away from stuff thats been done before. the judges will know who won last year and you'll need to up your game and do something unique. imho.

Usually songs in another language were pretty cool to sing..or the Phantom of the opera.
