1. Well, on earth, the acceleration of free fall is 9.8 meters per second per second towards the center of the earth (i.e. down)
2. A freely falling body is one that is accelerating due to gravity without anything (other than air resistance) impeding it's acceleration - bodies in orbit around the earth (or anything else) are also freely falling.
3. Terminal velocity is the velocity at which the acceleration due to gravity is counterbalanced by air resistance - thus giving a constant velocity, it is different for each falling body (and the position the body is in), but it is the fastest velocity that can be obtained while falling
