I should probably mention that I buy alot of music, I use the Kazaa (now defunct) type sites to either preview tunes (if I like what I hear I'll buy the CD) or to download the odd pop song.

There is no "safe" music share site you are always going to have some idiot put a virus on there. I use "bearshare" and haven't had a problem that I now of I've been using them for 4 years. So really any site is good. Its up to you what site you pick.

but before you open the files, you may scan it first just to be on the safe side.
