Nobody can end their wants. Most of them are left unsolved. Why? Well, problems constantly arise when others, in the process of solving their own problems, affect others. When these problems arise, people have unfulfilled wantings that are required to be fulfilled if the problem were to be solved.
That's what life is about. That's why imperfection exists.

Human wants are boud to be endless ,Because as buddha says "desire" is the couse for all these.Untill the desire is there for anything the want will be more it is not easy for a human being to get satisfied easily.life long we search for all things ,and in the end we never get it full , even though we get things , we need more . As you said in india people are more spiritual and some things are solved . If you see foreigners are coming to india for spiritual needs, it is only in india where they get the answers for all questions. Indians are not going to foreign to gian spitiuallity. Because india is the only country ,in the world where ,others cultures are respected, loved and people live happily (of course politicians take advantages of that but to a true indians ,he does not care)India has its own story to tell about religion, culture, and spiritualitys. The rush in the temples, church, masjid , gurudwaras and todays peole beliving in yoga, spritual babas, and ayurveda are good examples tobe told, about indias culture.

We human beings are made up of a soul and a body. The soul is eternal but the body is not. When you say all our wants are endless, they are not the wants of our souls but our bodily needs.
It's not the soul who wants money, or fame, or comfort, or passion. The soul is just performing it's duty of imparting life to your body and be in harmony with this beautiful world created by God.
But the body wants the attain eternity just like soul. Here the body doesnot realize the duties that are imparted into the soul which made it attain eternity. If you could impoart life to some other body, if you could manage to stay in harmony with the nature, you could possibly attain eternity. Not in the physical form but you would rather excperience a divine intervention inside you. A feeling of self satisfaction.
Since we are made up of a body and a soul which are two very different creations, one in a race to perform the divine tasks and the other in a race to show its presence in the phyisical world, we are in constant struggle with inner - the conscience. Once we identify our inner, our souls all our wants would end up...
And talking about India culture my friend, there's nothing in Indian culture that can end our wants. However, a very well detailed study of our culture and imparting of those ethics 100 percent in your life can lead you to self realisation. It cannot end your wants. It cannot bring you money or fame or any such worldly craves. But it get definitely bring a sort of mental satisfaction to you. It can really quench the thirst of your soul...

With out desires human life is meaningless. There is nothing to strive for. Even in a spiritual existence, there are wants, like a greater understanding. Human life is a journey. If our existence does not change, what is the point.

Human wants are endless cause their senses are are uncontrolled. And some are unsolved cause there is not enough time to achieve all in life.
You can controll your wants by controlling your senses. You should be the master of your senses. But generally its the other way.

you cannot solve your wants with spiritual power. Wants are created by our greed, and I know a lot of high spiritual gurus, who are greedy.
We cannot end our wants, but we must learn to be satisfied with less. Live a simple life, where we need just sufficient to keep the body and soul together.

No you are thinking of the eastern philosophy of non attachment.. that doesn't mean they dont want anything. They acquire as we do and they posses as we do and the love as we do but they think of it as something to be fond of but never attached to.When you are born you come into this world and you have nothing and when you leave you leave without even a body .So they believe if you don't form attachments then you don't have any regrets also they believe you don't cause yourself to be sad or reluctant to be prepared for the next life. You give of yourself to others and take their pain and do what you can for someone else and you will find a place of higher being in the next life. They think that you might die this afternoon but will be reborn in the evening into a higher being.. or stature of life.. so they don't give up their wants they just dis attach themselves to them so its easier when you die to not have regrets..These wants can include material things ,emotional things and even physical things such as sex and so on.. very simple principle and really makes sense..

I think wants or " desire" deminishes with age. But a certain element of desire without greed or comforts at the cost of others can be best avoided. Man needs to try his/her best to lead a spirtitual life with faith in ones own efforts and with faith in the almighty and should treat every experieince in life positively and for the betterment of his own nature. It is told that born a human itself is god's gift and one should use it for the best for one own self and humanity at large. Human can find god , within ? in the course of life and earlier we start as pilgrims in this course it is better. so if you are young and desires confound, think it is normal but see if you can bring the desires back to rest in you and not control them harshly
