Poverty can be solved/eradicated by education. These children when given an oppurtunity to study would appreciate what its like going to school. Naturally, they would want to study hard, usually have dreams of becoming a doctor or lawyer so that they can support their family. I suppose you can elaborate more on this. =)
The government also play a big part. They must offer financial assistance to these families so that these children will have the oppurtunity to study. I also assume you know how to elaborate on this part. =)
Therefore, the only way to eradicate poverty is by education. Even if the authorities give them big houses, big bucks but, they have no skills, they would not contribute to the country's economic. But, it will make the problem bigger because there is now more povertiness as people would just wait for the government's help.

Read the article from the link below, especially the section on Poverty Reduction.
Reduction seems to be the goal. Eradication is deemed very unrealistic at this point in human history.

The first problem is that humans use an item to determine value for products and services. We invented this item because it was difficult to determine how many cows could be given to a carpenter by the farmer for building the farmer's barn. This item invented was money or currency. Now, there are some people who have currency and those who do not. Since no one is willing to go back to the system of trading apples for water, etc, money will continue to be used as a trading and value determining device. If anyone every achieved a truly communal or Communist society, money would not be needed. But, since there have only ever been Socialist societies, money is still used. People still own things and want to keep the things they own without giving them away freely.

My family came from a very poor background. My grandmother and many of those before her had a "poor mentality". I understand that this is not the situation with everyone, and that it may not even be possible with everyone, but this is what happened to us.
My mother started her life with a poor mentality, too. This means that she thought like someone who was poor. She raised my sister and me with the same mentality until we were about ten and eight (I'm the oldest).
My mom went back to school and obtained an Associate's degree and part of a Bachelor's, but stopped. Later in life she regretted it. She was a hard worker, yet she was constantly in a hard spot, plus she had student loans to pay.
She got remarried and was working security for a very widely known company, yet she was still poor. Finally, she decided that she needed to finish her degree. She went back to school and earned her Bachelor's, then got a scholarship to get her Master's degree, too.
Now she, who started her life on this earth very poorly, brings in over one hundred thousand dollars a year, with a potential to make more.
It may not be the answer for everyone, but I firmly believe that if people will continue their education in this land of opportunity, poverty will be greatly reduced. The economy will very much improve, and life will be easier for many Americans.

look up communism in theory it is suppose to solve poverty. I think Carl Marx is the philosopher who came up with communism. In theory it works, but the human side of the equation doesn't
