I would defeat the dragon by playing flute music to calm the savage beast, then I would honour the beast for it's many talents, then ask the beast to support a cause for the good of the whole. I would offer my friendship and assistance. I would reason with his spirit, brain, heart, and physical self.

Dragons can be defeated and even controlled by capturing their moon-stone. All dragons maintain hordes of treasure in a mountain lair. Inside the treasure pile is the dragons soul stone also known as a moon-stone. Although dragons are thought to be immortal, their souls are actually found within this crystal. By taking posession of it you can defeat and even control the drago.

I battle dragons daily. They cannot be killed. I can disable some of them by being truthful to myself. The rest will either come back for another battle or not leave at all. It seems endless.

I kind of like the Harry Potter solution, where you fly around it. This would either dizzy it, irritate it, or just let you have a fun time flying. Alternatively, since dragons don't have hands, they are extremely vulnerable to those poke in the eye ploys, the ones where humans can just put their hand along their nose to keep the fingers from reaching.

it depends on what skill you have, me personally if i came a cross a dragon (mind you in this day and age that's not probable but for the sake of aguement say it was and i did) that ment to harm me i would simple use a binding spell or some sort of domination spell as there are manty that i'm familar with, and either would get me out of the trouble.

When you no longer need the lessons the dragon has to offer, you simply ignore it. Once ignored, the dragon will forever leave you, for another who needs it and will not ignore it. So says dragonlore.

Dragons are learned creatures, so there is no reason to battle one. I'd rather discuss the nature of nature or Confucious's sayings with one.

Now why would I want to go and do that?

Do not mess in the affairs of dragons, for thou art small and taste good with ketchup.

You have it all wrong my friend. Dragons are our friends and protectors. I don't care what they show on the movies. There are not too many evil Dragons.
