To impart World Peace we HAVE 2 show how to live it first. How U may ask... This way: RESPECTING OTHERS ALWAYS and NO matter WHAT! Do whatever U wanna do but without making/giving ANY kind of trouble 2 anyone else nor U; at the present and thinking in the close to come future as in the long to come... Easy and simple, right?

Interesting. This kind of question has been exercising me recently as well. I haven't really got it sorted in my mind yet but here are a couple of thoughts. Several studies have shown that the more people sitting in meditation in an area, the less crime there will be in that area. Our duty is that which is right in front of our noses. Concerning ourselves with suffering about which we can do nothing upsets us and actually increases the total amount of human suffering in the world. Just how does a Buddhist live within the rule of law if that law supports a different ethic? There is a fine line between the cosmic awareness this poem can bring and the laziness which it might also encourage ; 'Sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.' I'm afraid what I've written here reminds me of the song 'There are more questions than answers'.

All people of the world should unite in the common goal for world peace by sitting in a vigilance at the doorsteps of our governments
By taking this stance we would bring the world economy to its knees within hours, nothing would move or happen, where each country would be in total control by its people
Our governments and the powers that be would have NO CHOICE but to comply with our demands for world peace

Today people think peace is absence of violance. But the true meaning peace is harmony between the world within and without a human being.
So to bring peace to this world it is necessary that all of us recognise the indwelling god within us and within all other living beings.

All countries should be ruled by women-we have sons/daughters and parents and most women would do anything to avoid war.It's men who want control and power...and no I AM a straight lady who is just fed up with men and the hell they have put the planet through.
