This problem is something i have been dealing with for over 2 years now and i just want relief.. I tried several different methods including bedtime routine, warm baths, drinking herbal teas, using my bed for sleep only, i don't take naps through the day, i got to the gym daily and nothing seems to work. i'm up till 3-4 am then wake up so tired and i have no motovation which make taking care of a 2 yr old very hard along with going to school full time for massage therapy. I'm really at a loss here can anyone give me advice on how to fix this.. also i currently have no insurance to get proper sleep medication.

Girl... I feel bad for you.... the only think I can think of is to drink a glass of wine or any other alcoholic beverage that will knock you out.... Hopefully, you haven't grown tolerance for this yet....
--I could have done this for me, if it wasn't because I am watching my weight--

BENADRYL.... since you don't have insurance to get sleep medication. I have the same problem and I have tried everything....
BENADRYL was referred to my by my insurance nurse hotline...
I went to the store and they were out if the liquid, so I got the pills and they work!
It knocks me out quick.

I wish I had an answer for you, but it's almost 3 am here and I'm up reading your question!
Seriously, chances are that it's the stress of your life keeping you up. Rather than doing more, you might want to try letting go of a few of the things that regiment your life, and let the world loosen it's grip on you. It's quite possible that your stressing about ways to sleep better is only making things worse.
I know you've got a lot of responsibilities, and things aren't easy, but see if giving yourself a break helps. Go ahead and take an hour to watch your favorite show, or go out dancing with your friends, or just read that gossip magazine. See if clearing your head helps. Or maybe don't use the bedroom only for sleep?
Good luck. Relax. Have a good time. Laugh.

Well this could be a sign of depression. I know its hard to let you know about this and you may need to see doctor. If you can't turn your mind off when you are trying to sleep? that could be it i mean laying there thinking of this and that. but generally speaking depression is the main thing and its hard to explain if you have signs of it in your family. do you have drinkers in the family that can be reason they are drinking there are so many signs of depression. Wanting to be by ones self. NOt likeing crowds and ltos of people around change of your things you are doing. like you really liked doing holidays dressing up dancing and stuff then all of sudden past two years that has dropped maybe tiny bit or alot there are so many signs of this sickness. its really imprerative that you see a good doctor.

I don't know why people think they have to have medication to solve all problems. Not sleeping is not something you have to take a pill for. I have advised people to listen to Bible tapes, or read your Bible after you retire for bed. This is the most comforting thing you can do. Jesus is the answer to sleep problems.
