Probably you mean the pH of an acid or ... .
pH is not a product, however an abbreviation, explained below.
In any solution in water the concentration of hydrogen ions is 10^(-pH).
If pH = 7 then you have pure water.
If pH > 7 you have an acid.
The higher pH, the stronger the acid.

You probably mean 'pH' which is an indicator of acidity or alkalinity of a solution.

The pH scale is from 1 to 14 where 7 = neutral

Going from 7 to 1 is becoming more acidic.

From 7 to 14 is becoming more basic (alkaline)

think of a billion hndus, all the taoists, animists, tribal cultlures, animists shintoists and atheists

also the aliens could've used anything other that maths; music, cheese colour

they most likely used it is a joke as hydrogen's atomic number is one and its atomic mass is slightly more than one
