Feb 1968....San Diego Union Tribune and the North Shores Sentinel....got shot on 3 Feb 68 in central highlands in Vietnam

Yes. When I was about 7 or 8 I was followed home by a man and ended up running to a friends house and he followed a very close pace behind me. I ran in the door and had her mom call my mom who then called the police and they put the whole school on alert ( I had to give a description of him, the car he jumped out of, etc.....) It ended up in the local paper so that other parents and neighborhoods could watch for him.
I still remember the whole event very well.

Yes. A couple of times for my volunteer work with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Also,another time when I worked part time in a group home. It was about Community Living.Nothing really spectacular.

Yes and i had to buy a lot of ice cream...As a firefighter, every time your picture is in the paper, you had to buy everyone ice cream...I think i was the covergirl for the fire dept, also made the front cover of several magazines. Sucked...

yes - when I won scholarships at high school graduation, pics and photos after each university degree, pic and story about a program I worked at (and in a national magazine, and on local cable), pic and story about our wedding.
Plus, when I was a writer/photographer for one local paper, my name was in it all the time!
