once for my first born's birth &
once for my second born's birth.
my own birth
& possibley when I was in a car accident. In HighSchool with friends two seperate times, two different years. Bad flipping thru the air car accident when a friend was driving us back from bb game, etc. All non-alcoholic/drug of course, accidents. If it'd be anything, it have to be car accidents. I don't think they did student of the month or honor roll announcements in the paper. I won a Keep America Clean poster contest (national or something) in 5th or 6th grade & I'm sure that was in some paper. My Mom probably still has the poster! I was thinking Globally & made a Globe with the continents & an astraunat floating around (off to the side of the Earth -by the US) pickin up random pieces of litter I had put on the continents. They probably liked the plug for the space administration. Altho, didn't think that at the time. Got a little evergreen tree that my parents still have on their property & now it's huge. :) Of course Graduation was probably in the paper. Nothing bad except car accidents which they weren't the type to make you look bad. :)
Possibley for my near-drowned in a pool accident when I was a toddler. Another time my sis fed me turpentine out in our garage when we were little, ha! It's a wonder I'm still here! :)* These days, depending on where you are, that stuff may end up in the paper. Don't know about then. Never broke any bones.... first accident not a scratch. Second knocked out tooth, chipped one, little stitching on shin bone & little stitching between nose & top lip & between bottom lip & chin. :)

I was mentioned in the newspaper twice, once when I was a toddler at the pumpkin patch and another time when I was helping out in a classroom for mentally disabled students; reporters just walked in talked to me and the young boy I was helping, snapped a picture and left. When the article came out they completely made up our entire conversation- even though it was only about making necklaces out of beads!! Weird.
