Clicking remove deletes the file from your hard drive. IF the file can not be deleted then click the quarantine button to lock it away in a file that prevents it from doing its thing.

"Remove it" means it deletes it, Quarantine means it puts it in a place where it can't run anymore. But if it turns out to be something that is "not" a virus and it's something that your computer needs to run, you can release it from Quarantine and it'll be put back where it came from in your computer. "Quarantine" is safer because sometimes AdAware grabs up things that are NOT viruses and by quarantining all, you safely keep all suspected bugs from running and doing any harm. It also allows you to run your computer for as long as you want to make sure nothing eas picked up (accidently) that is used by your computer or some software that you have on your computer. Later, when you decide that everything's running good, (and nothing's missing), you can go ahead and empty the Quarantine folder, (or delete the files in there).

Quarantine means to lock it up and keep it from doing anything nasty; but still takes up space. Removing them deletes them entirely, so the virus doesn't even waste any hard drive space.

AdAware SE; great program for getting rid of malware/ spyware.
Delete everything it finds, it wont hurt your computer.

TrendMicro PC-cillin is one of the best anti-virus programs out there according to C/Net reviews. It updates constantly and also has a malware program.

I even have Lavasoft. it is amazingly good, and loose. attempt it in case you are able to, yet constantly be careful what you install on your computing device, and if a danger shop the document first then test it for viruses until eventually now installation. no longer Lavasoft specially, yet any document.
