it seems that everywhere i turn i have run into another moron who doesnt know a thing about a thing... how did so many people become so dumb? is it the televison? bc if it is... ill go put mine out by the curb right now!!! really though, i have a friend who cant figure out how shopping less will help her save money... does any one else know how shopping less will save you money? or am i the only one?

It's rude of you to say EVERYONE is stupid!
I think your friend has more brains than you! I think she is pulling your tail (long monkey tail) into believing she doesn't understand.
Asking questions on this site isn't the smartest thing especially asking if anyone knows how shopping less will save you money!
Perhaps you need to lighten up. Not everyone is a moron or dumb...putting your television on the curb is dumb...you can sell it and than go shopping.
MAYBE THAT IS WHAT YOUR FRIEND IS WAITING FOR...for you to put your tv there and than she'll sell it and go shopping...Now who is stupid?

omg... scary. not sure where u r from or how old u are but it seems that there is a decline from 18 to 30 - brought on by poor commitment college combined with narrow focus on 1 career for several years, so everything else (general knowledge) just fades...
not sure what is wrong with your shopping friend though... did her parents ever explain how money works?

lol about your friend... you're right, people have gotten very dumb. i think it's just our culture.. the dumbing down of america. a lot of things go into a culture, from schools, jobs, advertisements, social relationships...
i guess people don't feel the need to be smart anymore, either. we're the richest most powerful country, so we're very dumb and arrogant.
there's a lot of dumb celebrities that are very rich and successful.. they don't need to be smart.
