Some spilled a full glass of water on my Playstation and Playstation 2 games. They were kept in one of those books with plastic pouches. Is the book still usable? How much of the data lines could the water erode, if any?

There was probably saliva in it, too -- if that means anything.

Wipe off all the water. Place in a dark place, slightly warmer than room temperature. Do not place in sunlight, and do not let them heat up.

If you got water in your playstation, put it somewhere it can dry out, and do not put the electric on it until it has dried, as shorts may occur.

The books should be ok if dried carefull, although they may increase in size.

OK, here is the deal. When you wipe any CDs or DVDs you use either a cleaning cloth you buy at the store or tissue paper. When you wipe the disk off you wipe up and down, from the center out, not in a circular motion. You can wipe with anything, but you want to keep scratches too a minimum. Always handle the discs by grabbing them on the edges and never grab them on the shiny surface.

FYI, you can buy a CD cleaner. It is a machine that has felt pads and a liquid or cream, to clean your cd.

Your playstation 2 should have been turned upside down and let dry for a couple of days. All it takes is one drop of water on the circuit board to fry it.

Look and feel your cd holder if you think it is still good or not. In the US, go to the Lots Off store for some cheap disk books.

Why, did the dog slept and drooled on it?

Wash all CD's in distilled water or boiled water (but at ROOM temperature!), and dry thoroughly on paper towels, do NOT wipe as you don't want all the lint and such on the CD's. Let it dry as you don't want water spots either.

The media should be still fine. I'd toss the book and start over. :) You don't know what the book's made of. If it's cardboard backing those are pretty much ruined.

i'd probably just wipe them off with a light cloth, something that doesn't have lint so you won't scratch them... the games should be fine
