When you open a new document, go to Format/Columns/Three and that will give you three columns. Be sure to change the Page Setup to Landscape by going to File/Page Setup/Landscape

Besides formatting your document for 3 columns (got to "Format," click on "Columns" and choose "3 columns") make sure you reduce your margins to .5" or less (if your printer will allow it). Keep in mind that the outside cover to your pamphlet will be the column on the extreme right-hand side of your first page AND on that same page, the middle column will be the back cover of your pamphlet as you fold it. Place your content accordingly. Use your second page to lay out your content and using "Bullets and Numbering" (go to "Format" on the menu, click on "Bullets and Numbering" and make your choice -- you can even customize the bullets) might come in handy as you arrange your lay out. Good luck, have fun!

That is supposed to be done in Microsoft Publisher. But I did find on the Office site where you can download them: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/results.aspx?qu=Word+3+Pane&av=TPL000

good luck :)
