when they don't even really want to hear other peoples opinions...?
It's kind of annoying.

Sometimes people who feel deep down that what they think or want to do is not really the "right" thing will ask others opinions/advice in hopes their preferred thought or action will be validated. If it isn't they usually get really ticked off and then (this is what kills me) go on and do or think what they wanted to in the first place. It's kinda crazy to me.

Yeah, it's because they want everyone to agree with them all the time instead of looking at other people's opinions. They want a safe option.
