hi there
just got a new car, and there is white writing on the front window, like you see in all the car yards etc.....it's like a white out fluid...how do i get this off? it is only a small word, but need it removed..

first try metho on a old tshirt rag and wipe - DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL. glass is actually porous so using steel wool would remove the surface markings only then you probably end up rubbing harder to get out the rest and mark your windscreen. if it is stubborn dampen with metho and carefully use a razor while its damp then a rag

Razor is best, wool is ok, but tricky, when you do either, make sure you soak the glass with window cleaner while you scrape, this lubes the glass for less chance of scrathing, and it will be easier to scrape.

Superfine steel wool. You wont scratch the windsheild with it.

scraping it with a single edge razor blade should do the job... ;-)
