I have a rubber grip, I sometimes put it in hot water so the cap expands.

Call the fire department and tell them your kid is trapped in the ketchup bottle and they'll bring over the Jaws of Life and open it up in a jiffy.

movies when they open up champagne!!! LOL

NO seriously I run very hot water on the cap and/or use rubber gloves . Works with any bottle or jar! Found that glove trick by myself one day and used it ever since.

Mom taught us to bang around the edge of the cap with a knife to break the seal inside. It works everytime, but then your cap looks a bit dented. Now I buy plastic squeezie bottles.

My ketchup comes in a squeeze bottle, so i don't have that problem.

Tap the head.
A little shake on the body.

i chant on it for about 3 minutes then i raise it up and then i go looking for anybody outside the house with muscles and strong grip. hehehe....
