My 16th birthday is on the 2nd of may and i wanna do somthing really good like a huge party at my house but im scared that if i invite lots of people they will get bored what sorta stuff could i do to keep them entertained and should i hire a karaoke machine and what sort of food Help Me!! I need ideas for a great party!

I also live in australia so yeah and i dont have much money to work with also i was thinking of a joint party with my bestie who is 16 on the 6th

They won't get bored. Karaoke is awesome - go ahead and get it. At my sweet 16, people swam in my pool and sat around a fire pit afterwards roasting marshmallows. I served cheese fondue and a chocolate fountain, which has been the biggest hit at any of my parties ever. So do what you want - people will enjoy themselves.
Don't get booze or drugs, though.

Well, if you were in the UK, you can't go down to the pub and get totally wasted because they upped the drinking age to 18. But you could go down to the local store and purchase cigarettes to smoke instead.
Karaoke is always fun, especially if there are lots of people who can't sing, and don't know they can't sing. Why not have one of those bouncy castles for adults? The ones that you put Velcro straps on and you run at and try to stay stuck to the castle.

u should have a dj and a big dancing place so they wont get bored.for the food i think you should go for mexican or italian because that went well in my freinds party. u should have very estravagent drinks and sweets...i hope this works....ps try video games
