Keep in mind he's deaf and 23 years old. I was suppose to pay him the fee yesterday. When I approach to him about not being able to pay for full rent. He simply say "find a way to pay the rent or be out by tomorrow" I beg and talk to him for a bit.

Finally he told me "Do you think I think you're geuinely being nice to me because you consider me as a human? You're only being sweet and nice to me because you wants something from me. However if I or someone less "perfect" was to approach you to try talk to you or ask you out, you would have turned your nose up at them on the spot. So do you really think I want to do a favor for someone who pretty much consider me as a subhuman? How do you think your action make me feel?"

Then he tell me to write a full page on my thought on this and to try come up with as much as I could.

I feel so bad about this. I admit I know he's pretty much right about what he says. I know many people doesn't treat him well unless they want something from him.

I have heard my friends talk about how cute he is and how sad it is that he's deaf otherwise they would have been all over him. He also have threw lot of roommates out because they think they can walk all over him due to his deafness.

So I wrote a page on my thought and offer him all moneys I have. He read the paper then tell me to keep the moneys but next time he'll not let me get off so easily.

Why did he do this?

Talk to legal aid about it. You need to find out what your responsibility is; check out your states Tenant and Landlord Act. There are rules for all cases. However; if you move out you also lose out. My advice, check with Lawyer first. If he will work with you; that would be your best bet. Don't make any moves you'll regret later.

I think he just wanted to teach you a lesson. He was very generous to you. Pass the generousity on and remember the lesson you learned.
