Why do you say this, and are you Japanese? Do you speak Japanese? If you have a need to converse with a Japanese person and their English is not a great as yours, then try to learn a few of their words. But, I speak Japanese and learned it in Japan over many years, and I have to agree that almost any other countries people can handle English better than the Japanese. My contention is, the Japanese are rather stubborn about most things and that is why they have changed English into their own Japanese-English. Yes, there is a full language that they now try to use which is their version of English and if you do not know Japanese you will not know what they are trying to say. There is also the mind-set with them. They do not have r and v sounds in their language and they always use the r when the should use an L and they use B when they should use V. I tried for over one year to teach one Japanese person how to use R and L, and V, but he could never get it right. The entire country is this way.

I don't know where you are writing this, but if you have noticed a lot of Japanese people are learning and learning very well. They may not be perfect, but who says English has to be spoken by everybody. Really, people like you really drive me up the wall. I don't know how many gaijins (foreigners in Japan) I've met that have been in Japan for years that don't speak a word of Japanese!!!

I would say thats almost racist...I'm not Japanese..but it seems that your "question" is too generalized. Anyone whom is learning a foreign language has a hard time with pronunciations. Even though Japanese people are known to be very smart, they are human to, and they do there best especially with how different there language is and there dialect. Give them more credit.

Since you can't seem to form a correct English question, I'd say you really don't have much room to talk.

no! it's just that Japanese pronounce the vowels too clearly. every letter in the Japanese language ends with a vowel. like 'ma' 'ke' 'hi' 'go' 'su' ...and so they can't pronounce 't' or 'r'.
by the way, your Japanese aren't you?
