Can one be successful like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs without being ruthless?

Even your heroes used the secret to success. It is to form a group in life or business or politics. Unless you can listen to god and be a scientist you need a group to succeed. The group can then dictate being cruel to the competition.

Bill Gates was more greedy than ruthless. I think Donald Trump is ruthless, but that is considered admirable in his circles. People have to start valuing giving and kindness more. The breakdown of social bonds has led to a lack of communication and intimacy. We need to care more about people. What these people on top do may be wrong but they are taught the same things as we are. The media and society factor into these things.
