of course! I loved it. we didn't come here to start any trouble - we just came to do the SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE!
I was a kid then too... it was adorable and memorable - yes, silly, but the kind of thing a young kid fan would love. I remember william "the refrigerator" perry the best because I thought it was funny that people called him "the refrigerator." I had this image (long before that stupid diet pepsi machine commercial) of a big maytag or sears refrigerator gliding down the field.
I know the production values are pretty bad. I think it was recorded at one of those places where you paid for a session and then just went in and some engineer recorded whatever.
Adults doing something silly in the spirit of fun, team bonding and civic pride is acceptable and certainly from a kid's perspective it gave me reason to love them. It's certainly better than some of the on-field "celebrations" that degenerate into taunting and poor sportmanship. Besides, I think Walter Peyton was such a class act that he could have played football in a clown suit and maintained his dignity. (admittedly I do love clowns, but still.) Maybe he is leading your dad and other bears fans in a spirited angelic rendition of the shuffle as we speak.
What's important is that it brings back such happy memories, like the ones of your dad. To the best of my memories, no other team (including their opponent patriots that year) came up with anything similar, and honestly it'd be hard to repeat - because something like that the first time is sweet and fresh and cute, and then after that gets derivative.

The Bears played the Patriots and killed the Patriots in that Super Bowl. they promised they would only do the Super Bowl Shuffle if they won. The patriots didn't have anything, though.

I remember it. I was in college. I went to a friends house to watch the game and he had 9 or 10 guys over that all jumped on the Bears bandwagon. None of them were Bears fans. I rooted for the Pats only because I have been a Boston Celtics fan since 1971. They got drunk and really gave me a hard time. Nobody except my Friend said "I'm sorry" Now I watch football alone.

Please, no more Super Bowl Shuffles!!!
No disrespect intended towards your departed father, but it was wrong then and we don't really need a repeat.
Some of the 1985 Bears in that video looked as if they didn't want to be in it. Especially Walter Payton, whom I thought was just too classy to be in something like that, but he didn't want to disappoint his teammates. It was more like "OK, let's just get this thing over with and get out of here!" McMahon was probably the only one getting into it. No wonder his career took a nosedive after the '86 Superbowl.
